The Leagues Cup, the first seasonal club tournament in North America across all professional men’s sports, starts today, July 29, and MLS Season Pass on Apple TV is the only place where fans in more than 100 countries and regions can watch every match.
The League Cup, which will enter its third year, will be played in two rounds: Phase One, which starts on July 29, and Knockout Round, which will end the final League Cup 31. For 2025, the tournament will present a new format with MLS vs. The MX League coincides exclusively in the first and quarterfinal phases.
The League Cup 2025 will have a total of 62 matches, without links. Regular MLS and MX League will continue in August, with most League Cup Knockout matches played in the middle of the week.
